Voice of the Bridge

Badinage gave a brilliant performance of "Voice of the Bridge" on June 29th 2019 in Durham. At turns thought-provoking, moving and hilarious, this show was written by Jon Rees, inspired by the research in Nicholas Hammond's new book The Powers of Sound and Song in Early Modern Paris. Katie Bray, freshly returned from winning the Joan Sutherland Award at the Cardiff Singer of the World Competition, was in superb form. A memorable evening for all the audience, who filled the hall.
